Do you not find it highly hypocritical that ‘Ancient & Loyal’ is on your club shirt and your town’s crest, and yet most of you will be supporting Man Utd or wanting your home town team to lose tomorrow?
Please remember saying ‘Latics are rubbish’ as a response to justify your decision to support another big club only further demonstrates what you all are – GLORYHUNTING B*ST*RDS
I hope that glory hunting refers to the yonited part of that rant

If people on here don’t like rugby league then it’s probably because they have seen their chairman laugh at us on national telly, refuse to let us use their ground, had the council in their back pocket throughout the 80’s getting them to close parts of our ground and refusing to help us out financially. Along with their general belittling of us and unwillingness to offer any support to the impoverish lower league club in the town in the hope we would go out of business and fade away.
I don’t know where you were then pal but I lived through that and it wasn’t pleasant
What did Wigan Athletic ever do to hurt Wigan Rugby? Nothing – but they still treated us like sh*t
So don’t try to make out that the two scenarios are even remotely the same
We hate them because they tried to kill us
They hate us because we still existWe really only see tongue in cheek banter regarding them on here, with the odd hardcore remark, but if you have a look on any of their sites you get a distinct feeling of utter utter hatred for us, and that is by virtually all their fans.
I don’t understand what has caused such animosity toward us, when it has always been them or their Club / Chairmen that has wronged us?
Maybe griff, who appears to bat for both sides can enlighten us to why.
