10 October 2010 at 11:46 pm #48450I think we may be in a different section this season.
When I’ve seen Newcastle on the box this season, the away fans seem to be at the back of the goals just to the right as you look into the stand.I was in that section that night when Cantona scored that famous winner against the Geordies when Keegan was in charge. [don’t ask me why its a long story] It looks like they’ve put the away fans section back to its original place.
I have a great photo of me and my mate at SJP stood at the top of the steps having walked up to our concourse. We look like we’ve just finished the London marathon.
Have they not heard of lifts in Newcastle!! :oops:From Matlock to ManU

13 October 2010 at 7:58 pm #48616I have heard a few nightmare tales of away fans in Newcastle pubs, so watch yourselves.
Your average Geordie is the salt of the earth when he’s sober. However, stick a few “Bottles a broon” down their neck and they are a totally different species.
