Anyone else detest this bloke? Two good games against Inter and now he’s diving all over the show with the difference tonight being the commentary team actually accepted he tried to win a penalty by diving.
He did it against Wigan the other week and seems to get the rub of the green in most occasions with his “bum boy” image he’s enjoying right now.
This commentator comment “he went down too easily”, it equats to trying to cheat to win at all costs. Why isn’t this addressed by the authorities as outright cheating and a large ban? What happens in other sports?
I reiterate my comment recently that football is the only sport which accepts cheating as part of the game and practically condones it.
first match I’ve sat and watched although I only lasted 20mins before going to the computer, such is the interest I have in watching players cheating all the time whether mentioned in commentary or not. I see it, do you?

That is the biggest load of gash I’ve ever read.
Bale isn’t a diver, when a player of his speed is running full pelt, if he’s just clipped he won’t be able to stay on his feet. I’d say ALL professional attackers or at least elite ones make the most of challenges.
He did it against Wigan the other week? Correct me if I’m wrong, but he didn’t play against Wigan the other week.
Also, he might not be on the top form he was early season, but top form is top form because it’s have to obtain and even harder to maintain. The reason Messi is rated so highly is because he seems to always be on form, don’t ask how.
There’s far worse cheats out there than Mr Bale imo.
So can you explain to me why F1 drivers deliberately throw races to the benefit of their team mates and dont get fined or even spoken to come to think of it !

Now that above was the biggest load of dross I ever heard and a familiar football supporters defense of their allegiance to god’s apparent game.
How the buggery have all players since the advent of football with such speed running full pelt managed to stay on their feet with ease? It seems you make the above conclusion based upon the actions of the modern footballer.
I like to think I offer a completely different, unbiased angle having no vested interests is this damned sport.

Bale is a diver…
If you have no interest in football then what are you doing on this forum ? Why dont you join some gardening forum or something !
Ditto Fil and the speed of the game has increased over time I think, and with less and less warranting a foul it is easier to give away free kicks.
Since when have players been able to stay on their feet when clipped at full speed? It’s physically impossible in most cases and there’s an obvious difference between this and diving.

Personely your speaking bollox how then say a rugby player going at full pelt and has his ankles tapped does he stay on his feet I doubt it my self
I said I had no vested interests i.e an allegiance in the way of paying money to a club, loyalty to a club thus creating a natural biased.
Otherwise I’m still concerned in the going ons of football and how moronic it has become.
Their will be more like me giving it up, mark my words…
Sorry to get involved, but…
Maybe you aren’t paying money to go through a turnstile, but I bet you’re paying money to Sky Sports, or paying money to buy a drink in somewhere that’s showing the game, thus keeping them in business and ensuring they renew their Sky Sports subscriptions year after year. Whichever way you look at it, if you are watching live Premier League football, you are supporting the game financially.
Even if less people walk through the turnstiles, the TV viewing figures around the world will continue to grow as emerging markets develop.
Your words have been marked, however, I doubt if more and more people will have such a laissez faire attitude towards football as there will always be loyalties and support amongst ordinary British people. Britain was built on tribalism, and even if people do not enter a football stadium, they will still favour one club above another.
How many times have Spurs gone down in the box now? Were only 25mins in!
You said you stopped watching after 20 mins !! You couldn’t keep your eyes off it could you !! I bet you watched the whole game and enjoyed every minute of it !! :liar:
