Go on, name the players over 30 who played on Sunday.
As donny’s pointed out their all fooked Fox been the latest.
As for Powell staying ? Let’s get real hey. A player who could double/triple his weekly wage doing the same job ?, no one would.
The same player who turned down an alleged £10m move to Brighton and probably 3 x the wages he was on??

Don’t get me wrong I am made up he is still here but if he has an Achilles heel other than injuries he does seem to put ambition down the pecking order. I hope he sees his time out at Latics which may seem unlikely but as jr says he could have gone before now.
17 April 2019 at 11:08 am #178183I’d be surprised if anyone is 100% at this stage of the season that just stands to reason.
The one issue I would have with Cook is that he seems to follow the trend of the GPS trackers and makes his selections/substitutions based on who is tired according to a laptop and not the player themselves or the way the game is going.
Simon Haworth would have never played under Cook for example.
Your probably spot on egg imagine a player like Jimmy Greaves being around today, he admitted he shirked off training and was lazy but boy was he a class striker. I think Cookie trusts certain players too much and that affects his selections and substitutions which at times are baffling.
TBF! I think most if not all managers adopt the same thinking.
18 April 2019 at 12:05 am #178184So me pointing out that you talk utter bollocks is trolling is it?Who were they then? Walton? Evans? James? Robinson? Dunkley? All Cook signings those BTW.
What were your thoughts Wednesday when Sky referred to us a “young team”?
Lol, no they were all the players to fcuked to play. Ping pong over to The Trollman

Average age of 26.
Twice as many players under 30 as we have over 30.
More Cook signings are under 30 than over 30.Like I said…..utter bollocks.
19 April 2019 at 2:34 am #178203Anyone got a clue what’s happened to him? Debut at Rotherham not seen or even mentioned since. Very odd as Everton fans thought he should have been in there team not sent out on loan to us.Been saying the same for a while myself lowey. We persist with Gibson who’s crap, but won’t give a young loane player a chance? Struggle to understand our transfer thinking of late.

Struggle to understand our transfer thinking of late.
Clearly we were hoping he’d be another James and where worried about injuries & suspensions in midfield. What we are increasingly finding is that, unless they are a truly outstanding talent, it’s difficult for these Premier League academy players to make an impact in the Championship. Technically they’re good, but struggle with the physicality and tactically. Even when they do come to terms with those aspects of the game, many still drop down the leagues.
20 April 2019 at 1:57 am #178255That’s a fair point made 77. We just don’t get to see enough of some signings to make a judgement ourselves. If they are that bad then why are we signing them in the first instance? The manager can’t be seeing them himself surely?
