I’m going for a 0-2 away win, Moore and Lowe the scorers.
BELIEVE!!11 July 2020 at 6:20 pm #187843Settle for that today especially with the other results going our way young jedi lucky to stay on the pitch but what about those runs down the wing settle for that with 10 men the bad news Luton will escape Barnsley are gone so two spots up for grabs.
Well done Cookie and the guys.11 July 2020 at 6:31 pm #187844Not a great game, need a couple of wins in the next two games…
Nail biter potentially on the last game!11 July 2020 at 6:41 pm #187845We must beat Hull and prey QPR can beat Luton. Barnsley are at Leeds so shouldn’t get anything. A win against Hull or we are relegated in all probability. Luton have a decent run in so its them we will need to be above at the end. Luton and Hull play each other when we play Charlton so that makes that game a must win for us. We have to believe and hope. The lads have been fantastic since this came out and I wouldnt put it past them to win the last 3. COYL
11 July 2020 at 6:59 pm #187846Beat Hull and Charlton we’ll be ok however today we should be celebrating being mathamatically safe today. Didn’t play well to be honest but certainly battled hard. I do still believe that we can overturn the point deduction as well.
11 July 2020 at 8:03 pm #187847Points deduction apart it just makes the piss poor period from August to January so much more annoying. Even those two dire performances at home to Middlesbrough and Luton could well have seen us safe.
12 July 2020 at 7:27 am #187856We have to appeal against Fox’s red card. Another poor decision. I thought the ref stunk. The dragging down of Moore were you can clearly see his shirt been altered to an XXXL was one of many that went against us.
Personally, I feel a lack of centre halfs could be our undoing. Let’s hope Kipre stays fit or we will be knackered12 July 2020 at 8:14 am #187859Thought the ref made a few dodgy ones, the worst? Not sending Robinson off! Can’t believe he stayed in, I reckon the ref evened up that decision with fox
12 July 2020 at 9:04 am #187860We have to appeal against Fox’s red card. Another poor decision.
My stream died, so I cant comment on the red card issued, but Tony Robinson’s challenge in the first half was the most blatant red card I’ve seen since Roy Keane hunted down Haarland. However, as he got a yellow, then not even the FA can retrospectively ban him.
Swings and roundabouts I guess.
12 July 2020 at 9:31 am #187861Wtf u lot on about red ??? Robinson was stronger in the tackle end off
He went into the tackle face to face
Didnt come from behind
Didnt slide in reckless
Didn’t raise a boot
No studs showing
There was a ball to be won so wtf does he do ??
“Errrrrr excuse me Mr Barnsley Player, can you move please so I can kick that round thing?, oooooo your a gentleman, thank you, have a nice day”The Barnsley player was weak in the tackle and got his feet swept from under him and does a Tom Daley 9/10.
It wasn’t reckless wasn’t dangerous stop been fcukin pussies ref got it spot on on that occasion.
For it to be a straight red there has to be a measure of intent, dangerous or reckless, Robinsons tackle was non of them. Please stop watching the Prem your fcukin brain washed into thinking every tackles a yellow or red.
Fcuk me ! If were going to take strong tackles out the game we might as well ban strong tackles and wrap the club and game up.
I’ve stopped watching Prem sh1t due to the lack of.
Red ffs get real12 July 2020 at 9:38 am #187864I reckon our resident ref should comment on the red
12 July 2020 at 10:45 am #187866I think Robinson’s tackle looked far worse because the guy decided to do a 360 splash
12 July 2020 at 11:25 am #187871With a baying crowd Robinson would have gone that’s for sure.
Ref made a good decision there because it looked very nasty when he made the tackle although ref sensibly saw there was no intent or malice.
We may have lost the game so a point gained really. They never let us play and it’s a game we should have won with different tactics.
I think playing simple one touch football would have done the trick yesterday rather than the direct style we took as very few of their lot could play.
Loads to be positive and proud about despite the awful situation we are in through no fault of our own.
I think we can win 2 out of the next three and might even turn over Fulham if they have an eye on the play offs.
Still all to play for , I can’t see all the teams in the battle passing 50 points so two wins should be enough.12 July 2020 at 1:18 pm #187879The Hull game is a huge game for us. If we can win our next 2 games and Hull lose Saturday we could be 15pts in front come 5pm.
Fulham are looking more and more like they’ll not be able to go up or down by the time we face them.
If that’s the case I’m sure wholesale will be made.
1 game at a time but we need a big improvement from yesterday’s performance.13 July 2020 at 9:47 am #187896I think Cook should start Gelhardt on tuesday, Lowe has lost whatever confidence he had and maybe being on the bench would give him a bit of a wake up call. Looks like Naismith will be centre half unless Balogun’s fit.
