Gary Teale was like Garrincha, compared to him.
He is absolutely god awful. Can’t beat a full-back, and when he does have chance to play a ball in, his delivery is awful.
Does anybody else see this? Why can’t Martinez see it?
I think you’re being a little harsh on a player who was “double-teamed” and didn’t have much support form those around him who played a long ball to him but then never offered anything to help him after playing the ball to him.
Thought he did OK, was nowhere near our worst player on show today. How many times did McCarthy give the ball away? his passing is dire! :(
The only positive from today’s game was Macmanaman. Loads of effort, gets in were it hurts, great threat going forward, its time to let this lad loose. goodpost

YEP, thought Macca made a difference when he came on. Deffo deserves a real chance !

If you ever needed a reason why you shouldn’t post more or less straight after the game has finished, especially if you are of a sensitive disposition and prone to irrational rants, then here it is.
Our problem is not having a winger on the other side, Boyce is a defender and that is all, he looks so uncomfortable going forward I feel sorry him.

Cleared one off the line from under Rodallega’s nose in 1st
Never has had pace in abundance. But can pick out a decent pass.
Impact of his absence on team dynamics was evident against Stoke when he went off after first 20 …

Felt the lad had a bad game on the wing. But the problem for me was Boyce who offered very little going forward. So we seemed to result in the obvious pass out wide each time, and with two marking him, and worse still he had no options in the middle. Felt he was isolated.
We are missing creativity in the centre if the park and movement out wide was missing.
