Didn’t play at our best Versus Crewe .. 3pts
Came from 2-0 down .. beat Chesterfield …3 ptsPleased at this, so early in the season with a completely new team, looking forward to see what we can do over the next few weeks and months once the team get used to each other, feeling quite positive about this season now.

Slowly but surely this bunch of players are gelling and who would bet against a win next week at vale park.It is wonderful to see a full team of players who appear to want to play the game for 90 minutes. Effort, tackling, going for the 50 – 50 balls. It is all so refreshing.
I remember the days when Carson, Maloney, Moses and probably others looked as if they just couldn’t be fagged, bothered or *rsed. Not seen any of that in the present crowd.

If you’d have seen the way the players celebrated after scoring the winner … they were ecstatic, looked so happy and passionate – haven’t seen that in a latics team for a while now, whole team looking together.

I wish I’d seen that. I know it happened, I was there, but I was too busy being ecstatic and celebrating that I missed it!! EEEEjut that I am!!
