12 October 2014 at 4:32 am #134016Cost us the game.
Idiot.
12 October 2014 at 5:47 am #134017Cost us the game.Idiot.
First one was a great punch though.
The second one was out of order.
12 October 2014 at 10:53 am #134018he let his team mates and the wigan Warriors supporters down ,dreadful lack of self control and it spoiled the game.
I am always impressed by Liam Farrell and the sportsmanship he displays on the field ,never gets drawn into confrontations and always shows respect to the other team but keeps his self control at all times .He is a fine role model for youngsters to follow in ANY sport rather than idiots who treat the game as a way of legalising a punch up and he always gives 100%- a future captain without a doubt.
12 October 2014 at 12:11 pm #134019The first punch was in retaliation to a cheap shot by Hohio – that kind of thing happens in such an intense contact sport and whilst not acceptable on a football field, would be tolerated on a rugby field. The ref may have given them both 10 mins in the sin bin, or he may have just told them to cut it out.
The second punch was a cowardly attack on a player who had already been poleaxed by the first punch. He deserved to walk. He deserves a long ban. He cost Wigan the game.
I’m pleased that Shaun Wane has not defended that 2nd punch, as to do so would have put him in a worldwide minority of one.
Totally agree with the Liam Farrell comment. Andy Farrell had class too. Must be in the genes!
12 October 2014 at 12:54 pm #134020I saw Farrell playing rugby as a youngster and he always played the same game, never too flash just did his job and never sh/thoused or played the big I am.
12 October 2014 at 2:11 pm #134021Flower started it further back actually, tother mon went after him, which was brave enough as it was like my little lad hitting me, size of em both. Brave man launches a little man ko on the deck then gets even braver smashing a defenceless little fella on the floor.
Can only be a jail term for me, as bad as kicking him in the head.
The family game, enhanced further by some cockney wannabee, childish, idiot, saying into the camera after the game….”I’m so happy I could fckin swear”
To say I was disgusted by this so called sport last night is an understatement, never seen anything like it in 40 years but it has probably raised the profile of the game 100 fold overnight.
Do they do drug testing on these King St big men, ever?
12 October 2014 at 4:08 pm #134028Of course they do Tez. Just because you have muscles doesnt mean you’re on steds or other drugs.
I take it it was London born and raised McCarthy Scarsbrook who said that? He regularly swears on camera. Typical southerner.
12 October 2014 at 4:17 pm #134029At the end of the day the team that came top of the league lifted the coveted trophy and so the result was justified in my eyes!

Egg you can tell the lads who have muscles and brains apart from the lads who have muscles and are out of control, whether they play rugby or not. He was out of control one way or t’other and I know where my money would be.

.Talking to an health professional who works with the RL and I asked her about the steroids she explained that’s its too far gone and any team that bans them, wouldn’t be able to physically compete against the other teams.

She should probably take her evidence of this to the doping agency then. Infact if you did it you would be a hero in many Latics fans eyes as it would be the end of Rugby League.
