Would you swap Kone for Bent ??
Interested to learn how highly you guys rate Kone (and to what extent you feel Bent’s better days may already be behind him).
Lambert clearly doesn’t rate him.
Behave yourself, Bent has a proven and prolific goal scoring record in the premier league, I’m sorry but you just can’t argue with that, and it’s worth it’s weight in gold having someone with a knack for scoring, despite a seemingly restricted all round game, Kone has a lot to do to be considered more valuable to a team.
I didn’t question his goal scoring record. He is the ideal 6 yard striker. Kone is miles better than he is and in time will probably prove himself a better record in front of goal when he moves on to Liverpool or wherever it is he goes.

They wear the same kit so they’ll save a bob or two on new shirts if he can snaffle a few and take them with him when he leaves. I’d start smuggling a few out now, if I were him.

Can you imagine McLeish choosing to do the same during the latter days of his Villa stint (Austin in, Bent out)
