Joy Division at the Warehouse in Preston was pretty memorable. Next thing we knew he had gone an topped himself ! Same thing happened when i went to see the Ruts supporting the Dammed at King Georges Hall Blackburn. Singer topped himself as well. Then there was the time I went to see Nirvana……Only kiddin ! but the first 2 are true ! Reading rock festival circa early 80s threw up some decent performances Rory Gallagher to name but one ! Oh and the Sweet played Reading yet didnt play any of their chart hits and they fcuking rocked I can tell ya !
