It’s never nice to admit it but were simply not good enough. I’d normally say, go down then rebuild but without funds like last season it will leave Maloney with his hands tied behind his back.Fletcher took his goal well and almost set up Keane for the winner ,this lad gets stick from some on here but I like him ,he has that bit of quality that, if he is given a run of games, could make him a real threat. We have only lost one under Maloney ,it’s a real pity that he was not appointed when Toure got the job. We would probably be another five or six points better off which would put us in a lot stronger position. As it stands it’s going to be a massive ask to get out of this mess but if any club can do it ,it’s us !
One of the misses was offside .. so doesn’t count …Ref declined a second yellow for the cxxx who scored for Brum ..and a blatant hand ball .. various non penalised offences .. a throw in that should have been taken on the corner flag , but delievered in Beech Hill ..

Yes Maloney has only lost once but draws are no good at this stage of the season. Take Blackburn, it’s been do or die football all season. They know draws are no good to anyone. They’ve only lost 3 more than us, were 2nd from bottom Blackburn are currently 4th.
We totally lack that one bit of quality just to take the game by the scruff of the neck. Reece James totally changed our side with his driving forward and the will to win.Now I’m not saying we need that calibur of player but just need someone to drive with the ball, drag opposition players out of position, we pass everything no one takes players on.

Fletcher shut one or 2 up by scoring and actually looking a handful for their defenders. Power shut me and Mutty up by having his best game of the season. He looked like a man possessed trying to drive us forward.
Probably would have prevented a few of the 5 goals Sunderland conceded in front of 40,000 mackems hoping to put AN to the sword after dumping them.

Can’t tackle,
Rarely wins anything,
Can’t hold the ball up,
Runs like he’s flat footed or he’s a nail in his boot,
Rarely shoots,
Always 20yard behind on the break. Granted he scored so how manys that in how many. Tbh I don’t give a sh1t if he doesn’t as long as he wins it for others and sets goals up for others but he doesn’t, period.
As for your remark on Sinani ? Are you wearing a mask over your eyes. He’s the only one who’s positive. Looks at every opportunity to run and pass forward while Fletchers doing his Crosby beach statue impression knee deep in sand.
Look I hope he bags a hattrick against West Brom or the murderers up the road and make me eat my words or make a couple for someone else but let’s face it, deep down you truly know that ain’t never gonna happen
