After the game Saturday a few of the lads had a 15 minute conversation with Rosler. who agreed with everything they said about the performance and more or less said that some of the players that played today wouldn’t be playing at the start of the season. Someone videoed the whole conversation maybe they will put it on here for everyone to hear what he said?
Does anyone know how the lad Billy ? got on?. He looked in one hell of a state coming home on the plane last night It appears he got jumped on about 15 minutes before the game and ended up in hospital with half his top lip hanging off.
On three occasions during the night in the ALT STADT we were approached by groups of men in their 30’s upwards asking if we were WIGAN HOOLIGANS and DID WE WANT TO FIGHT seeing as we were all in our 40’s 50′ and 60’s they weren’t the tough guys they tried to portray themselves to be. Just wished that there had been about 30 other younger Latics lads inside the bar who they couldn’t see ;) These were just a very few all the whole the German people were great.
If you ever want a cracking weekend with LOADS of beautiful girls and good beer get over to Dusseldorf only 1 1/2 flight and cheap hotels. ;) ;) And for the discerning gentlemen, a trip to the DOLCE VITA is a must

:pinch: :pinch: :pinch:Unfortunately throwing beer over their subs (who were warming up) threatened to turn into coin throwing. Some of those young lads were an embarrassment and thankfully they were too drunk to aim the coin straight.

Not forgetting the two 7 year olds masquerading as adults throwing mustard over each other.
Best thing from Wigan that evening was the song “I’M FROM WIGGIN ME” blasting out of the Tanoy system prior to the game. What the Germans thought of that I don’t know? Maybe half of Dusseldorf is singing it by now
