…must have used all their luck for one season in tonights game against spurs.
The second half was like 3 pops in and then Blackpool go up and score a 3rd. :x
Lets see if there is any comments made about the state of the pitch or the crowd of 16,000.
Don’t think so!! :angry-soapbox:From Matlock to ManU

Don’t think so!! :angry-soapbox:I may be wrong but is 16000 not a full house at Blackpool ? All I can say is it gives us hope against Spurs when they come to town !! :happy-jumpeveryone:
23 February 2011 at 1:19 am #60261Not sure of capacity but seemed plenty of empty seats knocking about the place. I didn’t see much difference between the game we got stuffed 9-1 and that tonight. Spurs however squandered 9-10 chances against the pool and missed fek aw against us.

How many tickets will we get?23 February 2011 at 1:27 am #6026316,069 on and capacity is 16,750
If the capacity was 125,000 they would still have only had 16,069 on.

was it not that tottenham fans didn’t fill up their end?
23 February 2011 at 1:37 am #60266was it not that tottenham fans didn’t fill up their end?If that happens at the DW, it’s still Wigan’s fault because it’s a Rugby town…blah blah blah, pies, blah blah, Whelan – broke his leg at Wembley, blah blah, George Formby…etc.

Media darlings it will soon wear off wont it?
Our replacements as the most hated PL club(QPR also contenders with their tin pot stadium) next season if things go against us just wait and see.
Likeable little club with nice fans i met a long termer(not many of them there last night either) of theirs on monday and he was very respectful towards Wigan. They also despise Norrrrrrrrrth End so fair play to them.
They rode their luck last night and deserve the result which will certainly mean they retain the status next season against all the odds. All together now in the words of the pundits/players-
“THEY WILL BE FINE” (copyright any relegation battler)

Disagree that QPR will get picked on and get stick. Far from it, as a London club, with a lot of previous top flight experience, they’ll be welcomed with open arms by the press and media. I hope we get to play them as it’s a ground I haven’t done, and yet I believe it’s a good away day. Quite like their ground as well. Tight and compact.
Cardiff, if they go up, will be the new media ‘one season darlings’. Until people get fed up of their lot going around on the rampage, that is.23 February 2011 at 12:17 pm #60281Anonymous
I would love cardiff to go up but thats for my own selfish reasons :)
mate of mine lives there and supports them so would be 2 good weekends

After watching that last night they are still my favourites to go down. Charlie Adams banned for next 2 games, I don’t think they’ll get more than 36 points. :text-goodpost:
