Is it just me, or do others on here think that blackpool will spoil the party on saturday. Hope im wrong but…………
Just nervous thats all!!!
27 April 2016 at 1:22 pm #148388Dont be so negative Runcorn. We will paste them. Grgg hatrick.
We will outnumber home fans 2 to 1 at least. Be like an home game but the empty seats will be Ttangerine.27 April 2016 at 1:25 pm #148389Nervous ain’t the word, it would be nice if the Blackpool players joined in the protest and didn’t turn up. Somehow we will manage to take it to the wire to win the title and keep us all on edge. Cmon Wigan.
27 April 2016 at 1:33 pm #148390I have a very uneasy feeling that some of our numpty element will bugger things up for us.
27 April 2016 at 2:08 pm #148391I’m with Otter on this one, my worst fears are us being 2 or 3 nil up promotion in the bag then it all kicks off, apparently the Blackpool fans are talking about a pitch invasion for a protest, if our lot get involved then the game will get abandoned, points deductions and fines, a bloody nightmare!
Fingers crossed i hope i’m wrong.
Can’t wait for 2.30pm on Saturday, hope it all goes well 3 points in the bag and promotion, job done!
Fuck the EFL

28 April 2016 at 11:17 am #148395Why are people nervous? It’s hardly vital for us either way. We are already promoted and have little to play for apart from the kudos of winning a title that in all probability we will win regardless of Saturdays result. Do some think Walsall will win 12-0?
28 April 2016 at 12:37 pm #148396I’m a bit nervous because I don’t want what could be a good time ….. spoilt …. it’d be like going to see the movie about WAFC ihaventacluerichard.wordpress.com/2016/04/ and seeing one about Leicester instead, or finding that your hotel room was double booked but the second arrival didn’t arrive until you were snuggled up. Just like that?!!
28 April 2016 at 1:24 pm #148397All I’m reading about at the minute (everywhere) is how, if we go on the pitch we’ll get points deducted, people are nervous about fighting on the pitch and us getting deducted points after the games abandoned, breathalysers for WAFC fans at the turnstiles.
Never heard such sensationalist bollocks.
Get a grip people, Blackpool will be outside protesting, it may kick off out there, it isn’t like it never has before but I doubt it will as we’re all pretty much on their side. Police will be all over this in the ground so last years antics v Huddersfield doesn’t happen.
The kick off is 12.30pm, we played here in the FA Cup at 5.30pm and it was carnage, full of pitch invasions and bother. We didn’t get kicked out of that cup and we won’t be getting 3 points deducted either, no matter what happens.
I’m sure some of you have just parachuted down from the moon.
Oh and for those nervous about winning this match. Who care’s? We’re up!
28 April 2016 at 2:03 pm #148398I wish i had your confidence Tez, none of us know what to expect on Saturday.
I think that all people are saying is let’s get to 2.30pm on Saturday with the points in the bag, then let the Blackpool fans sort their own shit out!
Oh and i for one want us to win the match and again against Barnsley, simple reason i want us to go up as Champions, finishing 2nd and getting promoted on goal difference would take the shine off the end of season party!
Fuck the EFL
28 April 2016 at 2:25 pm #148399I know exactly what to expect on Saturday.
Folk need to calm down a bit and stop worrying about stuff that hasn’t happened and won’t happen. Enjoy yourself FFS!
28 April 2016 at 2:32 pm #148400All I’m reading about at the minute (everywhere) is how, if we go on the pitch we’ll get points deductedPossibly because the Latics fans have form for this type of behaviour:
http://www.wishfm.net/news/local-sport/latics-warned-after-pitch-invasion-at-walsall/
Perhaps the time to properly celebrate will be next weekend against Barnsley, where the Stadium Owner wont care if you all invade the pitch at the end!
I think the key message is “Enjoy the day out, let the Blackpool fans make whatever protest they feel appropriate, and then party the following weekend at the DW”

Spot on mutty, whatever happens on Saturday if we were to win we will have to wait until the Barnsley game to get the trophy. That’s the time to really celebrate. Stay safe but happy and lets come out of this game heads high. Jesus Christ its hard enough for the club to gain media respect as it is without any crowd desturbances adding to it.

28 April 2016 at 6:44 pm #148406The Walsall game plus others were last minute celebrations. We didn’t get any points deducted, in fact when did anybody get any points deducted for over excitement on a football pitch? Can’t remember Stoke getting points deducted in the Stanley Matthews game.
Saturday will be exactly what you’ve described Mutty, I don’t understand why folk are flapping. Too much rumour and hearsay being banded about and believed on social media. It’s the worst part of it.
28 April 2016 at 7:21 pm #148407Dingles on the pitch at Deepshit last Friday. Not lost points for it.
