New manager syndrome didn’t work for us but at least no cracks papered over and he see’s what a crock of s*** this team is.Buxton,Bogdan,MacDonald,Le Fondre p*** poor signings.Grigg on the bench so to Yanic if this set up was the advice of the inherited back room staff then dump them too.Joyce has his work cut out with the dollopers Caldwell signed but fingers crossed he’ll straighten them out.
5 November 2016 at 10:33 pm #152163Agree with rest, but thought McDonald was superb again today. Te amount of tackles he made and ground covered was amazing.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!6 November 2016 at 2:02 am #152176Correct JR – McDonald the only signing Caldwell made that could be classed as an improvement. The rest utter bollox.
6 November 2016 at 3:22 am #152185I thought the only one who did ok was Crackes the rest very very poor but no way would I of taken Buxton off Reece Burke should of been taken off in the first 5 mins the water bucket is better than him he would be great at rugby union the amount of times he found touch was amazing and to start with Grigg and yanic on the bench is just crazy got to of been the back room staff who picked the team but second half W J didn’t change it for the better apart from yanic still kept 3 holding midfielders but took Gomez off
6 November 2016 at 11:25 am #15218618 shots 3 on target , we couldn’t hit the side of profiles gym with a beachball. a bit er shooting practise wouldn’t go a miss or put a bell in the ball
6 November 2016 at 2:17 pm #152189We were looking at stats and couldn’t work out where we had all those shots but 3 on target does seem about right. Shame Wildshut and Grigg don’t play together week in week out and a regular playing behind Grigg. Time now for the side to get some consistency and working out some routines. Week in week out it is guess work for the players on who is playing alongside them.
Second half we seemed to look better but why start like we did yesterday with players all over the park playing out of their best positions and players playing when there were better options on the bench. Suicide against any side.6 November 2016 at 2:34 pm #152195A half hit shot that bounces through to Ali counts as a shot on target. Perversely a rocket shot that hits the bar counts as off-target. I never pay too much attention to them.
6 November 2016 at 3:10 pm #152196Will and Yanic not starting shows exactly why WJ needs a clear out and bring his own guys in. We cannot begin to see what changes he makes on the field until he gets to know everyone. It also showed yesterday that Barrow needs a new position at the club.

Neither have impressed this season. The game was lost by rank bad defending.
I suppose we need someone to blame even if that same someone oversaw our first away win last week. Assuming of course he has been totally responsible for team selection.

Why do you suppose they haven’t been at their best? In and out of the side all the time and do you really believe that Barrow didn’t pick the side probably on WJs instruction. Once the manager has got his bearings I imagine that both Will and Yanic will start most games. Barrow worked with Robbie and his 4 successors and the style always seemed similar we need a change its stale and requires freshening up. Hopefully Warren will do that.

I agree. I’d like to see a clear out and start again but I doubt it will happen.
7 November 2016 at 11:58 am #152229the result may well be a blessing in disguise and he really starts today to get things moving.
Gut feeling is we will stay up just once he starts to organise things.
Don’t lose hope yet7 November 2016 at 12:18 pm #152230Change takes time (if there are changes) and we may be in for a last third of the season rally to stay up.
We have been pissing about now since the middle of July with sides, formations and teams etc and there we were on Saturday in November with yet another mis-shaped starting 11. So now there will be more experimenting for Yootha to find his favoured 11. I can not see him having much faith in his generals after Saturday. -
