Yep Cherry seats to be banished for good.
Now we just need to remove the chubsters that used them then its a job well and truly done. Can they not use the running track pitch next door and take the pink seats with them? For a small fee of course

Good news about the new seats as the existing ones do look tired now.
Following on from this, Is it now time to look at injecting more cash into the club via renaming rights for the stadium.
Could be the EPIC stadium or something along those lines.
What’s everyones thoughts. Just thought i’d throw it out there.
It does not really add up to me.He says he wants more unity between the two clubs and then says he is going to install all blue and white seats. We will all be made up as Latics fans but the Warriors fans will be fuming, hardly uniting the two clubs. It could just be a ploy to make the Rugby increase their peppercorn rent.
Seats can be pink and green for all I care, as long as both teams are winning games.
So from a Warriors fans perspective you will have no issue if the seats are all blue and white ? I know when Lenegan was trying to buy the ground my big fear was that he would turn everything at the DW cherry and white. As a Latics fan with no interest in the Warriors I would have found it very difficult to attend home games ,so the colour of the seats is an issue. I still think there is more to this story ,there must have been discussions with the Rugby and our new Chairman is no mug. He say he wants to bring the clubs closer together why would he alienate the Warriors fans ?
Why would I? I sit in a white seat for rugby games. I used to sit in a blue one. At Central Park I sat on a wooden one. Really don’t care. Why would I?

So why did the Warriors immediately change the seats to red as soon as they got control of the Robin Park arena if it was no big deal ?
I rode past the stadium this morning and as well as the huge “#BELIEVE” sign in the windows above the front entrance, just below both clubs badges are posters depicting Latics fans. Don’t think the Worriers fans will be happy when they rock up tomorrow.

You’d have to ask IL. I doubt it was due to a backlash from fans but you never know.
Personally…..couldn’t give a sh*t what colour seat I sit on as long as we win.

From a rugby perspective, it has never been our ground so I don’t get why everyone moans about it. Most of the seats are blue anyway, the outside of the ground is blue, the pitch has a big Latics badge on it. We deal with it and play in a stadium with some of the best facilities in the sport or we play at Leigh or next door with no facilities at all. It’s 80 minutes a week FFS.
Might have been a bit different if it was at Central Park like.

Best hope crowds don’t dip anymore Ad or you’ll be in the shit mate.
Probably different for you supporting both, but there will deffo be some webbed footed goons fans who won’t want to sit on a blue seat. Suppose there’ll be more than enough white seats to fit you all in
