Through decidely cr4p managerial skills, poor backroom staff and garbage efforts in the transfer market. The Caldwell chuckle brothers would not be first choice at Rhyl.
We are officially the worst team in the Premier League.
But still, some of you will try to justify this total failure as not being his fault.
Still, there may be happier times in the Championship – and should Saint Bobhead the patron saint of incompitence take us down to the bottom three of that league by the half way point, the starry eyed Bobby boys will still say he is the right man for the job.
League table proves it – simply and utterly not up to it.
27 February 2011 at 9:06 pm #60638I bet you’re gutted you’ve had to wait all this time for us to drop into last place just so that you could post that. I bet it’s been typed up for weeks, hasn’t it?
You sad, sad individual.

Rhyl could be a tad upset about slagging them off like that, they wouldnt have signed them in the first place.

Yes we are, but unofficially most hacks and rival fans have thought the same for the last 5.5 years.
It is a shame that we are bottom for the first ever time in 6 seasons (not counting the opening day this season, correct me if I’m wrong)….but it’s not totally his fault. It’s not totally any one person or thing’s fault.
I don’t see us surviving, but I’m not going to pin the blame on just one person for this one season. This was inevitable from the moment we sold our star striker on the eve our first ever premiership game. Frankly I’m still surprised it hadn’t come earlier.
I’ve recently started to watch AFC Wimbledon and boy does it take me back. Great atmosphere, close to the action and real fans that can relate to our story. It made me realise that we are not on our own in being where we are and nowhere near as bad as some other clubs and fans have had it. It also made me realise that it doesn’t actually matter what league you’re in – when you are at the top or bottom of your league it’s exactly the same feeling of elation or heartache. At least if we go down we stand a better chance of feeling some elation again (fingers crossed).
28 February 2011 at 8:19 am #60739The sad thing is we seem to have accepted relegation from the chairman down. He is not going to change things in an attempt to keep us up he is not going to change things once we have gone. All the other clubs around us want it more than we do and are prepared to put in the effort where as we are just plodding along doing the same thing week in week out. Is it any wonder fans are staying away when the hierarchy look like they dont give a toss?. It no longer matters now whether Bobby stays or goes the damage has been done and the board are in no hurry to repair it.

As far as I am aware the whole league thing means that teams are judged at the end of the season, not during a snapshot in February. If only we had a number of games to turn it around..
I bet your glad you were able to come out with that statement anyway, feel better now? idiot.
