Looking for a bit of advice. I normally travel over from Ireland with my wife and daughter to Manchester a few weeks before Xmas. They like the Xmas markets and shopping and I head to Wigan for a game. Last week my daughter said she’d like to take in a game this year rather than go shopping (has even bought Grigg jersey). The weekend we are over we play away to Bolton. What do you think the chances are of getting a couple of tickets? I’m on the database and have a client ticket code but I’m guessing tickets might be a problem. If I can’t get one would I be able to purchase one from the Bolton ticket office (and just take precautions on the day re displaying gear and cheering in the home section). Any advice would be appreciated.

You won’t have a problem getting a ticket once they go on open sale. Cost you an arm and leg but you should be ok Trav.

Cheers Donny, should still be a bit cheaper than going Xmas shopping with two women in Manchester ;)

Think their away end holds around 4.5k Travis so you’ve a very good chance of getting your hands on a couple of tickets.

Birmingham fans were complaining about ticket prices at Bolton the other night and stayed away so they must have been dear!?

Got 2 tickets today. Thanks again for the offer Jayt. I usually travel over for home games but this will be my third away game after Burnley won 3-1 and QPR won 1-0 (The Duke). Looking to maintain my 100% away success record (would be perfect timing!!). Hope we’ll bring the luck of the Irish!! Haven’t told daughter yet that Grigg won’t be playing
