Do we think they’ll get their points deduction this year for failing to fulfill a fixture about 3 years ago?
22 August 2021 at 12:39 pm #193502Never understand why people hate their hometown team.
Only joking donny
I’ll be surprised if Bolton do bring 4000. They normally only bring that when the club puts free travel on.
They have sold their full allocation of 4,700 .
22 August 2021 at 1:00 pm #193506Must be free travel then
22 August 2021 at 3:34 pm #193513It’s not a rivalry, it’s jealousy. No other club has had the ups, downs, wins, disasters, fun, craic and beer that we’ve had.
22 August 2021 at 3:57 pm #193514I think a lot of the crap is generated by faceless Twitter warriors who don’t represent the fan base.
Every single Bolton I know and work with is a decent football fan who just loves the game. Like us.
I haven’t counted their fingers tho.
23 August 2021 at 10:39 pm #193556Is the South Stand closed on Tuesday?
Just looked at ticketing on club site and when you look to pick your seat, South is showing as unavailable. Surely its not sold out?
23 August 2021 at 10:51 pm #193558The South Stand is not open for this match mate.
24 August 2021 at 4:57 am #193560Just hope Leam goes for it and plays our best team available COYL.
24 August 2021 at 7:20 am #193561I expect maybe 3 or 4 first teamers will play. But I think he’ll give some more game time to massey, Humphreys, McLean might get a start, Jones in goal, Pearce maybe at LB to get back to match fitness.
24 August 2021 at 7:49 am #193563Should put his strongest team out then make changes, take overygame as a must win game especially when up against your local rivals.
24 August 2021 at 11:02 am #193582The South Stand is not open for this match mate.
Cheers, mate. I was wondering.
After looking at the seat plan last night, Im guessing we will have around 6-7000 home supporters in. I cant decide whether thats disappointing or not. Maybe, maybe not.
It does appear that its a bigger game in the eyes of the cowyeds than us, with them acting like its their cup final. To us its a bit of an average game against a club who’s last cup win was filmed in sepia. But when WE got to the final, we must have taken 30, to 40 thpusand people. A Wembley trip is a Latics tradition. Its a lovely day out…and yes, we’d love to go again.
25 August 2021 at 9:37 am #193619Poor game last night ,probably to be expected with both teams making so many changes.Thought Aasgaard looked class in the five minutes or so that he got despite the stick he got from the Bolton fans when he came on ,I thought he might have been one of the fringe players to be given a full game. Glad to get this game out of the way , now let’s get on with the important stuff , Portsmouth on Saturday.
25 August 2021 at 10:13 am #193623Thought the game panned out just how I thought it would. We did create the better chances but they looked better in possession without really doing anything.
We need to get a lot more clinical if we are to look at play-offs.
Was Southgate there to get tips?
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
25 August 2021 at 11:52 am #193626It’s good to win but that was two very different teams to what we’ll see in the league matches.
Anyway, nailed on for more Man City drudgery in the next round.
