Anyone else hear the booing at half time and even a few at full time?
Out of order whoever it was.
On a related note, two great receptions for two former great players today as well, although a major contrast. Chimbonda got what he always gets and fully deserves and then a great reception for Jason Roberts, also just what he deserved.
27 December 2009 at 12:50 am #16026i’m afraid most of our fans are complete planks and unless we are winning every game 5-0 at half time and then signing Messi, Kaka and Nathan Ellington ( :o ) in the interval, they will boo them off!

Some of the football we played in the 2nd half was really very good. The way Figueroa and Nzogbia linked up was some of the best football I’ve seen at the DW. Gomez was very composed and, whilst occassionally I’d like to see him move the ball on quicker, he was dictating most of the play.
27 December 2009 at 3:35 am #16033No boos from me as that was a point gained from what easily could have been a defeat today.
We have gained a point as Blackburn should have won with the chances they missed near the end and what a sh’t hot save from Kirkland absolutely world class.ps how dangerous were those iced up streets walking home?

I did hear the booing at half time and the so called supporters want to fo oking wake up admittedly the first half we played shit e but i dont think the atmosphere helped either we were trying to get the crowd going but it only went better when we scored
27 December 2009 at 10:31 am #16045Have to agree with loudmouth here, Constant lack of effort should deserve a boo every now and again, that first half was a very half hearted performance and warranted some displeasure being shown. After all they came out fighting second half so it did serve some purpose.
27 December 2009 at 11:55 am #16047Mr Tufty, it would be nice to win one, one nil, but cant see that can you thats why people boo

You are a ray of sunshine aren’t you?
27 December 2009 at 2:25 pm #16060The Boo’ers probably thought they were at a seasonal pantomine; starring Roberto Martinez as Prince Charming, Big Sam & Chimbo as the Ugly Sisters !

27 December 2009 at 3:12 pm #16068people pay so they have a right to boo or clap or whatever but when did we last win a game ? boo boo boo boo boo boo …..and we cant even win against poor teams as well …boo boo boo boo boo
27 December 2009 at 3:50 pm #16072Here’s a simple solution: if you find the football on display not to your taste, or if the players are not trying hard enough, don’t go to games, and go back to supporting Wigan RL, Liverpool, Man U, Brazil or whoever it was prior to 2004.
Or, we can carry on in the same moronic way, and end up like Newcastle with the better players wanting to leave en mass and nobody of any quality wanting to sign.
We can only muster up an average gate of under twenty thousand, and those we do get through the gates boo their own team. I can see the stars of world football queuing to sign for Wigan.

so is the football on display up to “your taste” ?
27 December 2009 at 5:25 pm #16082a question to the people who boo
if i came to your house while you were trying to perform,
and started booing or generally slagging you off,
would it help or hinder your performance?just a thought.
