    The weather in Egypt this week was crap. I am going to complain to Whelan about this.

    I thought they stopped away fans from going over that bridge and sent them over the one near the North East corner?

    That only happens when the plod are on duty obviously they had other things to do that day

    There are usually policemen/women stationed along the route to the canal bridge – there is always congestion at the foot of the steps. But on Saturday, there weren’t any police there.

    There was shouting as I crossed over the bridge. I got away as quickly as I could. I heard the sound of sirens as I walked back to the station.

    It was quite scarey as there were a lot of families and elderly people in that area at the time a few stewards turned up a little later but it had calmed down a lot then
