What’s the betting that if we are still in this position come January, there will be a FIRE SALE of our better players? Whelan knows if we get relegated that the better players will be ‘Up For Grabs’ and clubs will be offering peanuts. Knowing Whelan will sell, to get them off the wage bill.

And if we are in the bottom three, because we are shite, just who are the wonderful players set to be poached by other clubs?

I said a while ago that McCarthy was a prospect, I’ll stand by that, the rest of them are championship players, they’ll end up at their level.
