22 October 2016 at 10:45 pm #151638You can’t say that people will give you glares from the stands. The ones with tinted glasses on of course
Like his old mate, he will find positives from today! :cheer:
22 October 2016 at 10:54 pm #151639To be fair, we DID create enough chances & played decent. One fluke goal (that could have gone anywhere) & confidence dropped after that.
My only negative was when caldwell took off grigg following the goal. IMO he should have took power or perkins off & brought on lefondre alongside grigg.
But i do agree. If this form continues i do wonder how patient mr sharpe will be.
22 October 2016 at 10:58 pm #151640Oh, and muscled off the ball far too easily, especially Perkins! Is Gomez injured? Only decent chance fell to Burn who had a shite game and he promptly hit it straight at the keeper from a few yards out whilst the keeper was prone on the floor, why he didn’t just loft it over him is beyond me!22 October 2016 at 11:02 pm #151641Oh, and muscled off the ball far too easily, especially Perkins! Fluke goal?
22 October 2016 at 11:18 pm #151646Thought it was a well executed goal myself

Thought we were by far the better side until they scored. Their goal knocked the stuffing out us, along with GC’s substitution???? WTF did he take Grigg off for?
Problem today was our finishing, incredibly poor, Jacob had a decent game i thought, but his shooting was crap, as was everybody else’s.
Our talisman up front got no decent service again today, and to see him out wide looking for the ball is scandalous!Their goal, i thought was a well taken one, smart finish as he placed it.
As disappointed as i was walking off that ground today, i couldn’t really say it was all down to GC. The players need to take some of the blame. the tempo was good today until they scored.
GC’s tac tics though do worry me. He doesn’t have a killer instinct, let alone a knowhow on how to play this game.
23 October 2016 at 12:31 am #151657Caldwell shot himself in the foot with his subs today, yes wasn’t great taking grigg off for Le fondre at 0-0 but only he knows why he didn’t have a change of heart when they scored subs at the the time was simple Davies on for power 2 up front. But the earlier sub when Powell was injured was even more simple straight swap for gomez. Caldwell really thinks he’s better than he is and totally complicates things which will end up him losing his job if he doesn’t start doing the simple things first.
23 October 2016 at 12:53 am #151658Don’t know if you heard Wish FM today interviewing GC. He’s gained his footballing ethos from, Bob, Mowbray & Strachan….

Change the way you set up your team now before its too late, this is not working surely you can see that.23 October 2016 at 1:29 am #151663Don’t know if you heard Wish FM today interviewing GC. He’s gained his footballing ethos from, Bob, Mowbray & Strachan….

Bet Lostock Hall Latic enjoyed it today or is Al getting to the end of his tether yet?23 October 2016 at 2:24 am #151666Don’t know if you heard Wish FM today interviewing GC. He’s gained his footballing ethos from, Bob, Mowbray & Strachan….
