19 October 2010 at 9:16 pm #49025Funny how every thread on your site quickly turns into slagging off Latics
Especially the 18 page one filled with hatred about the little football club across town which never did you any harm. You know the one which was deleted because the national press were onto it and were going to blow your cover as fair minded sports fans ;)

One thing’s true, Wigan Warriors would never have a shop like that, none of the fat elephants who watch them would be able to get in

Heard from a very good source at the weekend that the “sign” thread got deleted because the PR dept at WW got twitchy once the national press were getting wind of it and were worried that the family sport might be portrayed as a bunch of bigoted narrow minded inbreds if proper national journalists read it and so they asked the site admins to remove it ;)

Nar the building is too clean for a pit village
19 October 2010 at 11:05 pm #49040No, definitely Clapham, SW4: the street that the Picturehouse cinema is on. I lived there for seven years and saw three fellas in Latics tops over the years but never any in Wigan rugby shirts (despite the amount of Aussies in the vicinity). Fair to say that the man on the Clapham omnibus had never heard of the M62 corridor’s most famous club.

You sure this is Wigan Athletic and not a Wigan RL shop? I think you’ve got it wrong sunshine. It’s even got a cherry and white striped fence around it.20 October 2010 at 12:58 am #49049No, definitely Clapham, SW4: the street that the Picturehouse cinema is on. i am sure all the bumps on their heads during the rough and tumble of their junior thugby days,or was it barging to the front of the school dinner queue, has done them irepairable damage anyway go easy on them.on second thoughts, i must have it wrong here – they seem to understand a playoff system where you lose in the first round yet still call yourself champions :? something nobody else on this planet understands.
