We are missing an experienced head.
Surely if he was here, he’d have been captain, today?
He’s still without a club. Get him back on a years contract, and give him the captain’s armband. In him, Bramble, and Melchiot going, we badly lost a lot of experience from the squad. And by god did it show today.
It’s not rocket science, is it?
Kirkland as captain, is a shocking choice. I’d love Roberto to succeed….

Frankly, I can’t be bothered to. If Whelan is such a ‘great footballing expert’ as he likes people to think he is…..then surely he can see for himself. He has eyes, as we all do.
I doubt a few irate Wiganers sending in badly worded and unintelligable correspondance will make him think “By gum! These people are right! Away with him!”
However the lack of bums on seats thing, which will no doubt happen, will be more cutting to our owners thoughts. Dare he even THINK of criticizing the support….or declining numbers of it.
