          The answer is Darren Gibson. One of the more polite messages he got said ” You offer nothing to United. Do us all a favour and hand in a transfer request you spud”

            Indeed it is Darron Gibson who quit Twitter -the fast becoming infamous social network site- almost immediately after joining.

            Some of the stuff he was sent by United fans included…

            “You are sh1t, fergie will sell you off in the summer”

            “You are an abysmal excuse of a footballer. You’re a one trick pony, a sh1t one at that. What fergie sees in you I don’t know…”

            “Team do all the hard work keeping possession, then you hit it into row Z every fukcing time!!”

            Typifies the feeble glory hunters quite well don’t you think. I think Mr Gibson would be made to feel very welcome by our lovely bunch of fans at the DW.
