26 November 2009 at 2:16 am #13889Griff, those comments were pure gold, however I did notice a fullstop and question mark missing. ;)
26 November 2009 at 12:22 pm #13898If he did reply like that, then I don’t blame him being honest.
He clearly walked because he felt he was limited at what he could do transfer wise, and I do believe the relationship was strained at the end, and that Bruce couldn’t wait to leave, from January onwards. That’s my thoughts on it, anyway.
26 November 2009 at 12:24 pm #13899In an attempt to “get down wiv the kids” I have rebelled and NEVER use full stops at the end of paragraphs on message boards. How radical am I?
As for the question mark, I was merely making a statement. If I had added a comma and the words “do you” at the end, then a question mark would have been in order.
Anyway, leave me alone – I’m a published author, don’t you know?

26 November 2009 at 12:56 pm #13902Yet another ‘shamless plug’ Christopher? (Joking)
For a major publicity stunt, you could do a pitch invasion wearing only a sandwich board advertising your book.
Or perhaps you could have the book at the match, and make like your reading it? This new TV phenomenon of looking for people doing outlandish things, like the guy with the toothbrush last week.
Plus, if it’s a dire match, you have an alternative.

With SW junior number two due in February, I will invest in your published work Griff as, although not virgin parents, your training manual may serve as a handy refresher for the present Mrs SW and myself.
Punctuation sucks anyway, innit?

Thank you, and I hope you enjoy it. There are plenty of Latics references in there, the period covered co-incides with the last promotion season. Not planned that way, pure co-incidence.
Book no. 2 is work-in-progress. Totally football orientated this time – I am bored with the kid now ;) – and I may introduce some snippets over the coming weeks to gauge reaction and decide whether it’s worth publishing.
Laters!
