FFS – why are only the players to blame? Why is Malky fckin bullet proof to almost everyone on here?

The set of players we have is a mix of Bob’s, Coyles, and Uwes plus a hasbeen from Malky. These players kept us up in the prem, won us a cup, got us to the semis of said cup and to the playoffs. They don’t become shit overnight. The rest that came in the summer are also good players – I don’t for a second believe they are not. Why do you think they don’t want to play??

The problem is the management. Coyle had no tactics. Uwe had attractive tactics, but for some bizarre reason u-turned on them from April and refused to stop rotation. Mackay has offered nothing new and isn’t willing to try anything new even, when things are going so do wrong.

None of this is to do with my views on his impact on the club off the field. Purely from a footballing perspective:

If Mackay is unable to make an impact with what he has got he is not a good enough manager. Even Coyle had us unbeaten at home for 10 games and succeeding in Europe with what he had hastily cobbled together. Even Uwe managed to get us playing immediately with virtually no new players.
If Mackay is unable to motivate any players to perform then he is not a good enough manager – and allowing him to stumble on through thus transfer window will be a huge mistake
If Mackay is prepared in our predicament to release players at the start of the transfer window without having replacements lined up then he is not a good enough manager.
If Mackay isn’t even able to get a team with playing no strikers to keep a fckin clean sheet for 60 seconds then he is not a good enough manager.

On the other side of the argument though galactic, he doesnt train them or instruct them to give away soft goals. I would imagine he pulls his hair out as much as us (well, some of us) at the state of our defending.

When you are losing every week then you have to change something. We have a squad of around 30 players, enough for 3 teams but we hardly see 1/2 of them. How’s about making changes, try different combinations up front ? I see young Sam Cosgrove travelled down, cracking day out for him.
At 3-1 down with 25 to go why doesn’t the lad get 10-15mins ? naaaaa too hard to figure out that one. MacKay is going to turn out as good as Coyle,

Maybe because we had used all our substitutions by then having Watson and Waghorn then Barnett came on for Ramis on 66 mins please keep up at the back

Let’s not split hairs hey Grandad, we were 3-1 down before we made our last sub, so why not hang on or even break the law and give him 1/2 an hr or is that asking far too much ?. I suppose it was a good learning curve for Cosgrove, finding out who sits near the windows on the coach and freezing his knackers off thinking I could do better.

I include Rosler and where it started going wrong. Arsenal semi he changed completely from the City game.

I have it in for Malky because of what he’s doing, I had it for Rosler when he started doing what he was doing.

Malky had also poisoned out club by his appointment. We have a chance if he goes now. It’s that simple in my view.

Agreed ,and perhaps a lot cheaper.

I see where your coming from owd un whilst our defenders where shite and taking off an injured Ramis and replacing him with a striker would be a brilliant decision I trust your cv is in the post to the DW

Well starting with Cowie and McClean upfront is baffling and so replacing a defender with a striker wouldn’t have exactly looked too madcap really would it!

Actually it was Maloney and McClwan up front and if an defender is injured replace him with an striker that makes a lot of sense

That celebrated strike duo Maloney and Maclean! Don’t get me wrong, Maclean’a our only chance of goals at the moment but we must be the first team in history to play two false No 9s.

And therefore leaving us weak on the left with McClean playing out of position.

When your 3-1 down you sometimes take a chance and go for it for it rather than tighten things up ….nout like holding on to a 3-1 loss.

Don’t miss your pill tray tonight grandad
