Seeing as your in Leyland, why don’t you feck off and support your local club, PNE? Just a thought, like.
Says the lass in Skem. Even added the scouse ‘like’. [/quote]
I’m not in Skem, bonehead. I’m FROM Skem.
There IS a difference.
29 April 2010 at 2:15 pm #31175Leaving the petty name calling to one side for a sec, I just always assumed that the reason Bullard was taken out of the squad for the remainder of the season was that he was pished off with the way Bullard had got his agent to hawk round his get out clause fee round the rest of the division
That seemed to be what he alluded to at the time29 April 2010 at 2:26 pm #31179Bullard left because he got offered more money by Fulham, and then did same again when he went to Hull. At Latics he probably just did what the likes of Ellington, Roberts, Barlow etc before him did where they had a good season and asked for an improved contract. I imagine Whelan’s got one of them trap doors in his office like Mr.Burns and when the words pay rise is mentioned they end up in the gant
29 April 2010 at 3:52 pm #31189Just an average run of the mill mid fielder in my opinion. I cant believe he was considered for the national side, all media hype over nothing ! His pass completion ratio was p i s s poor when he played for us ! Oh yeah and he wasnt even funny, just a d i c k head !!I have to disagree with you o this. He is definately funny.
Oh and I am taking none of StandishWalkers posts as the truth. In fact I don’t believe a word of it.

Yes, that’s right James, it’s all a damn lie.I’ve never really met him, he is only friends with footballers, and he would love to return to Wigan as he loved the people, the place, and the football club.
Is that better?

It’s probably closer to the truth.

Once a scouser always a scouser ;)
29 April 2010 at 4:29 pm #31206The only time I’ve spent in his company was when we were promoted from Division 1 (I think), John Filan (great bloke) and a number of the winning team were in Walkabout and just us, I was fairly bladdered but everyone else was just having a laugh, Bullard kept looking at me like he was a scared little boy, certainly not the ultra confident person we see on tv, it was one of our lads who put Teale on youtube singing “Teale’ll tear you apart” while having a yellow water. Good night to remember. Not getting into an argument about it but I don’t think there was just you and your lads in there that night.
I certainly was in there, with a number of others, and I remember the place being heaving with Latics supporters.

Yep..you come on and say things that make no sense whatsoever..Well done!!! ;)
What a brilliant addition to this thread. So does that mean that you are taking all of SW’s (more than likely untrue) statements as facts?? Yeah??
Bullard doesn’t dislike Wigan at all… But his best mate SW knows him best ;)By the way Griff…I haven’t said anybodys a C**t.. But you quite clearly think you are better than everybody on this board and think everything revolves around you…BUT…It doesn’t :D

You are mistaken… SW was the only one in there…SW’s word is goepel..Just ask Griff

Makes sense to me, and SW too, I would think.
There are one or two on here who keep saying I am better than everyone else on this board recently. It makes me laugh almost as much as it makes those that actually know me laugh. But, you crack on with the inferiority complex if it makes you feel better.
As for brilliant addition to the thread… you simply telling SW that you don’t believe him adds what, exactly?

I’m a bit puzzled what SW has to do with these quotes?? :?
29 April 2010 at 4:59 pm #31214I’m a bit puzzled what SW has to do with these quotes?? :?Nothing, Jimmy’s just getting into a little bit of a tizzy. There’ll be lego bricks flying all round his playroom in temper, this afternoon.
29 April 2010 at 5:25 pm #31220I was in Walkabout that night, from early on, when the players arrived, until around about 8pm, when it started getting stupid, with a load of hangers-on coming in. People who hadn’t even been the game, but wanted a piece of our success.
I heard one woman, deckout out in replica shirt, face-painted, with ribbons in hair, etc, looking like a massive fan, asking her bloke “Which one’s Alan Mahon? Which one’s John Filan?” etc. It was cringeworthy. I had enjoyed it initially, mixing with all the players, and chatting to them. Funniest thing was John Filan getting a load of drinks in, and carrying them all back with his huge two hands (a bottle on each finger!) Class! Roberts, with his ‘posse’ was class, as well.
But you could tell the numpties were coming out in force, and so I made my escape, just as loads were turning up and shouting their mouths off. (I bet that nipple who fell through Maloney’s canopy was one of them)
From the moment the final whistle blew that day, and a load of tits (remember that fat slaphead, with no top on?) ran on the pitch, I was realising that promotion had it’s minuse’s, as well as plus points. :(
