Loks like Graheme Jones is the front runner for the Burnley job with the bookies.
Who would take over at number two here and do you reckon he would take Barrow with him?
Hypothetical of course, because we don’t whether he is interested or not yet.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
15 October 2012 at 6:59 pm #94983Will be Owen Coyle surely. I doubt Jonesy will be interested. He went 1/7 for the Swansea job and nothing materialised. Must be very well regarded though to be linked with managerial positions. Wonder what keeps making him stand out. There are plenty assistants in the Premiership with vast amounts of various experience and don’t get touted for anything.
15 October 2012 at 7:34 pm #94984Looing at Sky Sports it is looking like they really don’t want the Judas Coyle back
15 October 2012 at 7:39 pm #94985Can’t see coyle going back there,he would be lynched as soon as they hit a bad spell
16 October 2012 at 2:43 am #95014Mike Phelan and Eric Black immediately spring to mind however im not surprised Jonesey keeps getting a mention for vacant jobs.
Our management team are very high profile given the Houdini style relegation escapes and we got more coverage at the end of last season than i can ever remember previously.
Not sure Burnley is the right place for him though-a cul de sac of a town in the middle of nowhere with no ambition and whose best days were well over 50 years ago !
A club that loses its manager to bloody Bournemouth (nothing club if ever there was one!) is on the slide thats for sure.
Stay away mate!16 October 2012 at 2:45 am #95016well i for one would rather live and work near bournemouth than burnley no matter what the job was lol

As someone else has said I think, not many number twos are touted for number one jobs but Jonesy seems to get his fair share. People within the game must think he has what it takes.
If the lad wants to make a go of it as a manager he will have to start somwewhere and Burnley is probably as good a place as anywhere.
Anyway, according to Paul Kendrick on Twatter, he isn’t interested.
