No pay on the day
11 January 2017 at 10:12 pm #154027Where have you seen that?
11 January 2017 at 11:40 pm #15402912 January 2017 at 2:22 pm #154042Gutted can’t go, went last year, good away day.
Little lads only ever game in the afternoon, even if it’s off I won’t be able to get in on the day.
12 January 2017 at 5:11 pm #15404513 January 2017 at 4:54 pm #154075I wouldn’t be surprised if this is called off, the shit weather at the moment must be music to their ears and with the sickness bug going around at their club with only 12 players training, its a great get out clause, I bet the groundsman has been told “don’t touch that f in pitch ” untill the ref has seen it, that’s what I’d do.
13 January 2017 at 7:49 pm #154076Assuming the game does go ahead, without using too many of the old cliches, this really is the relegation 6 pointer.
Given Burton are in the last safety place and 6 points ahead of us, we simply cannot afford to lose and let the gap from safety grow to at least 7 points aka 3 games
For me this is the pivotal game in our season. Win tomorrow we really could be on our way to safety, lose and sorry I just don’t see us surviving. Sure we can win the odd game here and there but so can all the others around us; just can’t see us putting a good enough run together to close a 7+ point gap. A draw we just about cling on…
Really got to go for the win tomorrow, no 5-5-0’s etc

Couldn’t agree more.
13 January 2017 at 9:03 pm #154089Yep agree, no other result other than a win in afraid.
13 January 2017 at 11:16 pm #154094But have we ever beaten Burton… they are a bogey team for us.

14 January 2017 at 11:52 pm #154133Whilst we can’t really celebrate tonight, we can allow ourselves a little smile :)
Survival is a mountain to climb; today we reached base camp whereas we could have crashed to the ground.
So so vital that we kick on and win next weekend. Any team can win a game (Rotherham today…) the key is to win 2 or 3+ on the bounce.
Good stuff today. Read somehere that’s the 100th team we’ve beaten in the FL..and ticked the box of having beaten every team we’ve ever played in the FL since 1978. Bet there’s a few who haven’t done that ;)
