until you see that bentley pulling up outside the dw and some exotic geezer stepping out dripping with readies then it’s all fantasy i’m affraid
10 January 2012 at 1:35 am #77762It’s a complete fabrication.
More worrying however, is the standard of post on that thread. Is that representative of the youth of today?
It was like walking into the ‘wrong’ room at a party and having to beat a hasty retreat back out again. Shocking.

Its much more sophisticated on here. You want to join some of the pages on facebook. That will be one bad party for
10 January 2012 at 12:19 pm #77769Not true. Whelan wouldnt sell until he can find that warchest he buried 6 years ago ….
(Is that the first mention of the warchest in 2012?)

Whatever anyone thinks of DW i dont think you would be paying £250 for an season ticket if somebody bought the club.

What would new owners gain by whacking up the prices when we already struggle at the gate with the low ticket prices now in place, i guess they would wipe out a substantial amount of our home support in one go.

link up with some south east asian corporation and we have wigan being promoted “properly” in the lucrative asian market. Sign one or two asian players (like notlob did with that japanese fella) and they got millions watching them around japan.
p.s. if they or anybody does buy us. Can they please buy out the w.e.p and close the old fashioned, stereotypical, pre-historic, useless, inaccurate rag down
Thank you mr foreign man/woman -X-

i’d stretch to 30 a game or whatever that works out for the season ticket

Yes I would pay more and if the club ever decided to do an ebbsfleet were the fans owned part of the club i would find the money for that too

we should form a group similar to the chelsea lads did a few years back with chelsea village. bought a percentage of stamford bridge and now abramovich can’t buy them out.
Just in case we are sold and it goes t its up, that way that donny lonegan fella who runs the tubbers can’t get his eggy little hands on our stadium. better safe than sorry.

He cant buy them out i agree with you on that, but you watch in the next few months there will chelsea fans mysteriously dying and vanishing off the face of the earth

Maybe you would Hindley, but thousands showed that they wouldn’t after the first season in the Premier League. And, even if season ticket prices were doubled and you filled the whole stadium, you’re only looking at an additional £6m a year – which would buy you one half decent player at best.
