What would new owners gain by whacking up the prices when we already struggle at the gate with the low ticket prices now in place, i guess they would wipe out a substantial amount of our home support in one go.
Or maybe they would scrap this stupid database and allow people to turn up on the spur of the minute and actually be able to get in the feckin ground. it would be full for the big games then.
link up with some south east asian corporation and we have wigan being promoted “properly” in the lucrative asian market. Sign one or two asian players (like notlob did with that japanese fella) and they got millions watching them around japan.

Yes, if you scrap the database you’d have a full stadium against the like of Man Utd, Liverpool etc, because it would be full of Man Utd and Liverpool supporters. That’s the whole point of it, and why the system is in place on advice from the police (yes, that’s right, the police. It’s not a scheme invented by the club to keep attendances as a source of amusement for other clubs’ supporters).
Do you not think the club are trying to get Asian companies onboard, and have been successful to some degree? Take a look around the pitchside advertising next time you’re there.
