I see that Motherwell have just signed Devante Cole (who was a free agent having been released by Doncaster).
I wonder with new owners in the offing, and the fact that we are short in the striker department, if it might be worth (if we can) recalling him from his loan spell? He’s played at our current level and scored goals before, so is that worth a shot?
In all honesty, I expected him to be with us at the start of the season & very surprised he was out on loan again. Unless this had been a pre-arranged agreement at the end of last season. I’m really not sure. He is pretty decent at this level c/o his spell at Oldham & did indeed chip in with his fair share of goals. With the window closing on Monday I hope he is recalled, unless there are developments.
We should definitely bring him back and give him a run in the team with Garner. Then see where we’re at in January.

It showed us what vvankers the admin are. Whether it was a pre arrangement I’m sure that could have be re written under the current climate.
