If every Latics player could give as much as this lad has given today, we would be champions league. :o

What a journey!9 January 2011 at 3:46 am #55006Yes, but they don’t, do they?
And when he “makes” it himself, neither will he.
Probably. Sadly
9 January 2011 at 4:01 am #55008Lets give him and the team, the credit they deserve today and hope that the lad who got assaulted from the stewards after going onto the pitch today, gets his mobile back.

What a journey!9 January 2011 at 4:24 am #55012Saw this lad at Leyland Motors when we beat Bolton reserves 2 yrs ago. He scored twice and we all thought what a good player he was or could be when he grew a few inches as he was quite vertically challenged ! I am so glad he is still on the books coz that lad had and now it would seem has potential !!
9 January 2011 at 11:53 am #55016He had a good game and took his goal VERY well, could see it was in from the second it left his foot from where I was sat.
Thought the man of the match though was James McArthur. The guy was everywhere. Played some cracking balls through to De Ridder (who also played well), McManaman and the useless one. Fully deserved standing ovation when he went off.
9 January 2011 at 12:08 pm #55018Kinell Griff ! Thats a bit negative about the lad we should be pleased about the way he’s developed.
If you won a few million on the lottery you’d probably worry about the stress and inconvenience of dealing with said funds and worry about being kidnapped.
You are a cynical kind of chap.
9 January 2011 at 12:12 pm #55019It was a bit tongue in cheek Hugh, as are many of my posts.
I’ve been impressed with the lad every time I’ve seen him play to be honest. I hope he goes on to do very well, preferably at Wigan.
9 January 2011 at 3:02 pm #55025Played well today and hope that he gets game time to develop and hopefully become a good player or us. Also was very impressed with McArthur as i have been everytime he has played for us. De Ridder looked threating at times and woulkd like to see him on the becnh more oten as he is more likly to cause problems than Gomez
9 January 2011 at 4:00 pm #55027Still not seen the highlights, but by all accounts we played well.
Fair play to the lads who came in from the cold and put in a shift. Glad De Ridder came in and did alright. Especially pleased for McManaman, as he can only get confidence from his performance.
Maybe some of these players can push for a start in a league game soon, giving us more options and opportunities.
Well done, lads!

but this kid is good
and once he starts on a regular basis
he will be off like a shot to one of our near clubs
fact is we dont keep hold of our stars long enough

What a journey!9 January 2011 at 7:34 pm #55043I feel it was a very flattering scoreline for Hull, as everyone has said, a good nearly all round performance for the boys today, the travelling fans had a great time (which is the main thing) and Martinez will now have food for thought as to whether he has alternatives already under his nose.
Thought I would start posting under this user name rather than the one I usually do, seeing as some think I don’t post very much on here
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
