Looking at the concourse, the bars and the queue to get in I would say there was more than 11k on unless every extra fan was in the east stand.
Looking at the concourse, the bars and the queue to get in I would say there was more than 11k on unless every extra fan was in the east stand.The South stand concourse was rammed not seen that many at the bars for ages, any time that there’s a half decent crowd it’s a disorganised shambles at half time.
I suppose that these things take time after all they’ve managed to paint the footprints on the floor to encourage the fans to queue in an orderly fashion.
Whoever thought that the North and South stand concourses were big enough needs a good shake.
Although to be fair I recall being at Blackburn a few years back in the Prem and it was ten times worse, can’t think how it passed a safety inspection.It was good to see a few more on the ground. Probably knocking on two thousand extra home fans, many who would have been ex season card holders.

The West stand bar wasn’t much better, four lots of footprints on the floor yet one big queue because there was only two serving, needs to be sorted out before the championship, shocking at present.Probably had something to do with only one bar being open in the South.Didn’t notice if the other bar was open, too busy trying to break through the queues for the bar from my seat in SS2 to get to the bog.
