The one off Saddle Junction behind B&Q
CP 3 is the fancy one behind the East Stand…
2 August 2014 at 3:06 am #132600Why would anyone pay to park ? get there early enough and park in Montrose Ave for nowt and get away from the game easier. Let the away fans have the misery of trying to get away sharpish. Plenty of places to park if you drive and are willing to walk a bit.
2 August 2014 at 5:33 pm #132605I thought one of the conditions D.W. was allowed to build the stadium was that he had to have one ‘free’ car park?
2 August 2014 at 8:30 pm #132608I’m not sure that it as anything to do with the stadium.
All the smaller car parks at the front near the running track and the champions bar building charge a fiver aswell even for the friendly against Beshiktas (spelling)
and they are council owned3 August 2014 at 1:55 pm #132615It’s also all fenced in now so only the 2 ways in and out, meaning it’ll be a right t**t to get out of after the game.
3 August 2014 at 9:53 pm #132622Why screw with something that`s worked for years they`ll just turn supporters away (and they will disappear if we don`t have a good season this year) i`ve always parked on 4 and no way am i paying another £5 per home game, if i`d known that i would go and support Man U , Rugby season ticket for car parks £35 football £60 oh sod it rant over .Has it been tarmac`d with parking bays or still rubble .
3 August 2014 at 10:58 pm #132624It’s still a pile of rubble as far as I could see.
I’m really surprised at how the club has gone about this, leaving it until after everyone has bought their season tickets before letting us find out it’s going to cost an extra £5 per game on top of the ticket price increase. Fair enough I know they have to try and make up some of the money we’ll lose in parachute payments this year but they should’ve told people up front when renewing season tickets.
These are the sort of underhand tactics I’d expect from Man United towards their “customers” rather than from our supposedly “family” club.4 August 2014 at 5:32 am #132626It’s still a pile of rubble as far as I could see.

These are the sort of underhand tactics I’d expect from Man United towards their “customers” rather than from our supposedly “family” club.If someone’s decision on if they are to renew their season ticket rests on whether a car park is still free of charge, then in my opinion they need to give their head a wobble.
I’m sure the club didn’t deliberately plan to release this information after season ticket renewals. Probably more the case of a new commercial team finding their feet
