Ignore the fact it that egit Jay Whittle asking the questions, the fact he introduces someone as chairwoman says all you need to know about that money grabbing idiot that has milked this crisis for his own benefit. But Caroline the WASC Chair really comes across good and pretty much puts your mind at rest about a lot of things.
I cannot put into words how superb our Supporters Club and fans (mostly, luckily the bad ones are virtually all on Vital so don’t have to suffer them on here) have been throughout this horrible process, plus fans of other clubs, the council, Lisa Nandy and the FSA.
It is good, but nothing there that wasn’t on the PWU podcast interview before it.
Noticed that JWhittle seems to jump on the back of stuff and pass off as his own brainchild. heard he hampered the initial fundraising with his ‘exclusive’ interviews with people he wouldn’t have been able to get hold of had he not joined up with the WASC, Mudhutter, PWU and CL fundraisers. I know people on there and they said he found out about the planned Zoom/Youtube interview that was gong to be charged for, then in the days leading up to the event used the information and contact details gained to do individual showings for his youtube channel (wonder if he donated any of the money he got from the advertising, I am guessing not.
She comes across good and we have to hope this crew coming in will be as good as she expects. Not sure why what effect Warriors has on anything to do with it, we can live without them, they can’t survive without us.
Just got round to this, very long winded and could have been cut after around 35 minutes, but worth listening too.
We are very lucky to have Supporters Club and individuals that want and can help out for the greater good. Bury relied too much on thinking the Admins would find a buyer, didn’t fund raise, didn’t kick up enough interest in the right areas. Bolton were a bit more proactive, but knew there was always going to be a buyer even if it was a bad one.
Let’s look forward, try to put this sorry situation behind us and move on.Away a lot, but always watching
