Jacobs….Same. has he been instructed not to go down the line? Or is he just knackered?Morsy…ridiculous booking, and makes a mockery of us letting Evans go. We wouldn’t pay over 500k, yet we then blew money on walker and Vaughan. Stupid, as morsy gets suspended often.
Massey….I don’t see what he offers us, being honest. Colclough in first every time.
Powell….looked shattered tonight as well.
Grigg….I know he got poor service, but he also needs to strengthen up a bit.Worrying thing is, we haven’t got much on the bench who you think can come on and be a threat. Although we haven’t seen young Devante yet.
Can see now what Portsmouth fans meant about no plan B. We never really looked like ever getting back in it tonight and looked dead as soon as it was 2 nil. Beaten by a very mediocre side, but one that had real bottle and fight.
No clever excuses needed. We were shite.
Pool al5so had pace. We just walked it around with no urgency going sideways and backwards.My dad was saying we never really try a long ball up front. We’ve no big man who can make a nuisance if himself,chasing a ball or holding it up as a target man. We always seem to have dwarves up front.
Heard a whisper tonight linking us with Victor Anichebe. Not sure of his situ, but maybe Cook is noticing our lack of a bigger presence up front.
