Presume they are tactical to combat Sheffield style.
Strange to drop two of the stand out players from the side that put on probably the best performance of the season.6 February 2016 at 8:58 pm #147053Well it certainly worked. Bloody well done Latics.
Owdham next. Were on a roll now.6 February 2016 at 9:36 pm #147054Another gud win the new signings along with the others may well get us over the line

Owdham next. Were on a roll now.We didn’t score 3 though….bloody rubbish Wigan
Things are looking very good, a point off automatic, albeit Walsall with a game in hand. Massive game in 2 weeks at the Bescot….I will be keeping a very close watch on proceedings from Madeira B)
At Christmas, the plan (in my book) was to spend January and February cementing a play off spot then March and April launching an all out attack on the top 2.
Things are looking great at the moment, so a banana skin around the corner no doubt
6 February 2016 at 10:27 pm #147057And from another “out of town” Latics Mon:
Brilliant; I would have settled for a draw before the game; so tonight I’m ecstatic and going to murder that Rioja ( in honour of Bobby, of course ).
Got to say; it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas !6 February 2016 at 11:17 pm #147059Improving goal difference all the time too.
Best in the division at +21.
7 February 2016 at 12:52 am #147066Along with Second best defensive record & third highest scorers….. Walsall away could see us move into second spot???
Was impressed with McAleney today, looks a good prospect.
7 February 2016 at 1:41 am #147070Looked like two different teams today us, first half a bit drab and cautious, brill second half really went for it, happy with 2-0 but could have been better if cocky Grigg had scored the third
McAleney looked lively lets hope he keeps that up, surprised Wabara didn’t start though been well impressed with him.
Just hope our pitch is reet for next week!
Fuck the EFL

Pretty good assessment, but the pitch is a concern and could affect our football. Will be foo k ed by end of Feb for sure.
7 February 2016 at 3:03 am #147073The pitch will be fine u will c against the pretenders on sat. That’s if it stops raining

Strange to drop two of the stand out players from the side that put on probably the best performance of the season.Maybe Gary reckons his squad is strong enough to be able to do some rotation … to keep people fit, not wear them out and prevent injury, as well as keep some hunger to keep in the team. It seems to work, so far.
I need a rest, out injured with a groin strain, Ali has told me to put an ice pack on it. Any other suggestions? What would Yanic do?
