A few on here have always championed rotation and squad use.
How about this for a statistic
In the last nine games Accrington Stanley have made just one substitution winning eight and drawing one of those games.
If true this is an amazing stat and was on talksport earlier.
How the hell in the modern game would this happen.
I find that hard to believe tbh
Crystal Palace next lowest with thirteen substitutions.
In fairness what Stanley have done in the last couple of seasons is an absolute credit. Promotion to League one on a limited budget with small crowds is fantastic. A real club with real fans and I for one wish them all the best in going on to win the title.
A big shout out to Billy Kee too who scored their two goals on Tuesday night who battles with severe anxiety and depression and to Stanley for sticking with, supporting and showing faith in a player with this condition.
A massive well done all round.
