He couldn’t get a game for Rangers.
The lad’s having a purple patch at the moment, but on usual form, he’s the un-thinking man’s Danny Murphy. Very overrated in my opinion, and prone to stupid mistakes.
Exactly. He’s just another in a long line of media creations.
People are stupid enough though to hear his name on MOTD or in the newspapers and believe he must be good to have this sort of attention. I’d prefere it if people could make their own minds up and not have it done for them.
Any career move this fella makes will never improve upon the season he had until Christmas.

Here’s a Charlie Adam story for you that I got from a very reliable source:
A few years ago Chelsea played at Ibrox in a pre-season friendly and Charlie Adam had one of his few half decent games for Rangers. After the game he swapped shirts with Frank Lampard and was boasting about how Lampard had said what a great game he’d had. Soon after, he was spotted lurking outside the Chelsea dressing room.
Lampard eventually came out and Adam asked if he’d sign his shirt. Lampard said ‘Yes, no problems’ took hold of the pen, paused, and then asked ‘What’s you name again?’
Half the Rangers squad witnessed it, pished themselves laughing, and ripped him to shreds about it for months afterwards. He didn’t find it as funny as them.
