Nowhere near good enough. I think we will all agree on that.
A couple of players are looking very jaded and in need of a rest, Jacobs especially. He looks shattered, compared to his normal self. He seemed reluctant to get down the line tonight and was going infield too much. Powell is out of sorts too, and not sure if he was told to go straight up the tunnel, but he did do and ripped his shirt off as he did so. Was it a hissy fit? He too, looks jaded. Evans delivery tonight was poor. Massey? I dont rate him at all. Doesnt do much at all. No wonder we are being linked with signing a winger.
We definitely need a new face or two to come in and freshen things up. The players on the fringes, I wouldnt say they are exactly challenging for a start, except for Power and Toney, who is good in the air, but clumsy with his feet.
Monday wasnt great. But tonight was far worse.
