As I have mentioned in Kirkland thread Andy Lonnegran from North End would be a good acquisition to the side and also wouldn’t be too dear ! He is a decent keeper and young. Also why not approach Portsmouth for David Nugent he would be ideal for us and he also would be a cheap purchase and is local lad as is Lonnegran ! Both Portsmouth and North End could really do with the money !
18 December 2009 at 4:14 pm #15576nugent is on loan at the dingles!
18 December 2009 at 5:00 pm #15579Nugent not premier quality too slow not exactly covered himself in glory at dingle land
18 December 2009 at 7:48 pm #15586Benni McCarthy the odd man out at Blackburn, desperate for first team football to keep his place in South African team, has the experience and would fit the Whelan wallet.
19 December 2009 at 12:37 am #15587Benni doesn’t even look like he wants to be at Blackburn and would be a superb addition for us, not far for him to move either, if he would move….
19 December 2009 at 1:14 am #15591nugent is on loan at the dingles!Yeah I know that but its only till Jan I think !
19 December 2009 at 2:38 am #15596Nugent is not good enough and a trouble maker of the highest order.
We could do a lot worse than putting an offer in for Beattie. When your manager headbutts you, you know it’s time to move on. He’ll leave Stoke in January – you can bet your house on that.
19 December 2009 at 3:04 am #15597If Bob studied the way that Nugent gets goals and changed his tactics to bring this to fruition then Nugent would be a viable cheap option. I know what he does but I cant go into it in detail on here but if Bob was to also see it then bingo we will get goals ! Cheap as chips DW !
19 December 2009 at 1:06 pm #15608why not try for BEN FOSTER, DOS SANTOS (SPURS) , ALAN HUTTON (SPURS) GARETH BALE (SPURS) AND ROBBIE KEANE (SPURS) seen as spurs seem to be having a clear out maybe one or to of them on loan.

21 December 2009 at 10:30 pm #15776Nicky Shorey from Villa was a star for Reading when they first came up and got called up for England if i remember rightly. On loan at Forest at the moment and looked good on sky the other day against nob end. Can attack and defend too unlike Bale.

22 December 2009 at 8:16 pm #15881Swap Figgy for Bale and keane, as spurs want Figs, Bale will be more than a good replacement. Shola Ameobi at the barcodes is banging them in at the min and is better than what we have at the moment, give them Scotland and say £1mil.
