With me and my missus and 3 kids all going, it looks like our seating option will be thee 30 quid for us and 20 quid for the kids, these tickets are up in the gods behind the goals, has anyone sat in these for a game and is it better or worse than the away ones at newcastle.
I wanted to visit the new Wembley, so I paid £38 – the cheapest price, I think – to sit in Block 510 behind the goal at a play-off final.
There was a perfectly acceptable view – but obviously it was some way from the pitch. I’d say the view was better than Newcastle. You could take a pair of binoculars for a close up view. There was some pre-match entertainment for the fans.
No problems that I can think of – you go up on some fantastic escalators, but have to walk down. It was a three o’clock kick-off, so I was able to go by train.
There are food stalls outside the ground. You are told not to take cans and bottles in. I didn’t buy any food inside.

My flabber is gasted. What the hell constitutes a fantastic escalator?! ;)[/quote]
The one I go up has fit women in red uniforms (like the Virgin Atlantic ad on TV) at the top and bottom. That’s pretty fantastic. Plus there’s a Champagne and seafood bar at the end of it. Wembley takes corporate to a whole new level ;)
As for the original post, there are no bad seats and it’s nothing like SJP. I went to the very first England game v Brazil and sat two rows from the top behind the goals. Still great views.

SJP has great, but you need eyes like a Golden Eagle to make out what is going on.

Not to mention the climbing skills of a mountain goat to get to your seat!
