Good to see the FA at last doing something about cheating in football. What’s Niasse likely to receive, a two match ban like the Bristol City player? Not a punishment that is likely to deter others in my opinion.
If the FA are serious about clamping down on this then I’d say ban the player for 3 games, disallow the goal & deduct points accordingly. So in Evertons case their point taken away & Palace awarded the win. It’s the only way to stop it.
And by the way, you could tell it was a dive in real time and no idea why the ref gave it.
