Four years ago me and the missus walked down to the West Ham game (the Tevez season) and we needed to win, but we didn’t show up and got beaten 3 – 0. Walking back up Wigan Road that day we had to endure the taunts of West Ham fans in the coaches passed us heading into Standish.
Now, I’d class myself as a sensible middle aged man, not some childish idiot, but it was pure pleasure as we waved to the coaches last night. I lost count of the obscene gestures that were returned my way!!!!
