Another game that will have more people watching it than worriers will get in total all this coming season.

Always find it pretty sad really when the first thing Latics fans or rugby fans for that matter, think about first when there is a big moment for their club is what the other side think about it. We play two different sports FFS!!!
Lets hope Latics shock THE WORLD again by beating City and then Wigan rugby take back their Challenge Cup and League titles for a record 20th and 22nd time.
If that all happens in front of 20 billion people or 2 cats and a dog won’t really bother me one little bit.

Anyway, tonight is a much more important game in my eyes. Would sooner win tonight and lose Monday rather than the other way round!
Agree with Blackmamba the Blackpool game is far more important than the City game for us as a club, yes the City game brings us the limelight but we must go up this season .

If you want a conspiracy theory, he did want to get booked at the end so he would only miss one, not two League games – which are more important.
He didn’t want to get booked too early though as that would risk another yellow and being sent off.

From where i was sat it did seem he was waiting until the RIGHT moment.
Maybe Cook used our advantageous league position to hatch a plan. Throwing the last 2 games whilst playing shockingly bad in order to lull City into a false sense of security! Could be the master plan of the season!
