In fairness I can back Griff up here , he always uses big words when he corresponds with me

When I heard the report about his accident one reporter said they were trying to figure out why he was on that road at that particular time which I thought sounded like a weird statement to come out with.
Now he was either back on the lash after just been charged and lost control or he’s tried to top himself in the car. I have no sympathy for drink drivers, if found guilty of drink driving it should be an automatic 5 year ban and 6 months in jail , period.
He has a checkered past regarding alcohol related incidents, including a drink driving conviction and now a drink driving charge, has suffered from depression and has previously tried to commit suicide.
I have some sympathy for the man but given his past I’m not sure he’s the best person to be preaching moral values to anyone especially in an organisation such as “Kick It Out”.

I understood that he was a pedestrian when he was involved in the incident with the truck but I may be wrong. All will come out in the wash I expect and the truck will be fitted with a forward facing camera so the accident will have been recorded to video. The truth will out.

I don’t know any details , I assumed he was in a vehicle which doesn’t seem to be the case. Sympathy ?, over his troubled past with alcohol and depression ?, yes… but drink driving none what so ever.
What fooks me off is all the “Hope you get better soon” messages, would it be the same if he had of killed someone while drink driving ??. I hope the press don’t forget, far too many celebs get away with drink driving too lightly. The same one’s who can afford to hire someone or taxi it around everywhere for the short period they are banned.
Hang him out to dry I say just like he wanted to do with Whelan over some half baked old mans comments.
