Southampton v Wigan (15:00 BST)“This will be the first ever league meeting between Southampton and Wigan and both clubs will want to get points on the board as quickly as possible.
“Southampton produced a display few would have predicted against Manchester City last weekend and almost created a major upset.
“Wigan boss Robert Martinez will be looking for a far more consistent effort from his team this season. It would take a psychiatrist to explain what was going on at the DW Stadium during 2011/12.”
